And there goes another year!

So we've come to the end of another academic year for the Students at CCK, and what a great year it's been! There will be numerous different highlights for everyone i'm sure, but i'm going to give a quick run through of the year through our events.

This year i've been blessed to be a part of the team involved in organising events for the Undergraduate zone (amongst other things) and I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we've loved the experience! Over the course of the year we've had 2 student quizzes, an open mic night, a treasure hunt, a meal out, the annual Christmas ball, boardgames nights, a student's sports day and many events hosted by members of the zone. I think I said everything... That's not even including the best part of the year; the Weekend Away!

All of this years events have been a huge success, and we're all so grateful to you for making that happen as well as a huge thankyou to everyone involved the organising and running of the events. But a personal highlight for me is the number of non-Christians that have come through our doors this year. With all of our events we aim to make them as accessible as possible to everyone and really encourage non-Christians to come along, so thankyou to those of you who have brought your housemates and coursemates along to our events. I really do believe that the events we put on are a great stepping stone for getting people into Church and changing the views many non-Christians will hold about Christians and the Church, so it's so great to see God really working through these events!
These events are also important to help us grow closer as a zone and I hope everyone's been able to meet more people and build on the relationships they already have throughout the year.

Hopefully we will have another amazing year, with even bigger and better events! If any of you have any ideas for things you'd like to see next year, please do let us know (in the comments below), we're always trying to think of new exciting things we can do!

So, the real question is, what are your highlights from this year? :-)
